flumpool’s new song “Kimi wo Tsurete” will become the theme song for Fuji TV’s Sunday morning news program, “Mezamashi Doyoubi”, starting in April.
“Mezamashi Doyoubi” previously featured theme songs from the likes of Yuzu, Big Bang, and Nishino Kana, and in April flumpool will join this list of artists who liven up Sunday mornings for Japanese viewers.
flumpool vocalist Ryuta Yamamura commented:
On the weekend, there's this unexplained happy feeling. Like if you dare to trust it, you'd open a door to an unexplored world and go flying through it. I hope this song will take people's troubles away and let them enjoy a great morning and weekend even if it’s only for a little while.
“Kimi wo Tsurete” will be distributed through Recochuku starting March 31st.
