AKB48's Nakaya Sayaka Autobiography Becomes a Surprise Hit

Even Nakaya Sayakanon-Senbatsu member of AKB48, was surprised when her first foray in publishing became a huge seller.

"I think that people bought it because they thought it will be a 'kiss-and-tell' book," Sayaka joked after she learned about her book's success. "This book contains messages of support for non-Senbatsu members like me, I won't betray their expectations," she added.
"Moshidora's" creator Natsumi Iwasaki, to whom Sayaka lend her voice for the anime, was one of Sayaka's major influence that made her write a book. Nakaya Sayaka decided to share her life stories and struggles as a non-Senbatsu member. She personally wrote everything; taking her time in between concert performances and even cramming before the deadline.
Aside from writing, Sayaka hopes to continue working as a voice actor. Nakaya Sayaka will also lend her voice for "AKB0048" anime.
